CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION JUNE 21, 2000 Council Member O'Donnell advised he believes it is appropriate to audio tape the meetings. Council Member Carlson stated identification of those speaking on key issues is needed along with the audiotape. Staff advised Ms. Divine is the staff liaison to EDAC. It is difficult for Ms. Divine to be attending the meetings in that role and take meetings minute. Staff encouraged the Council to arrange for a formal minute taker. The City Administrator noted a formal minute taker is expensive and difficult to find for 7:00 a.m. meetings. It was the consensus of Council to direct staff to begin audio taping the EDAC meetings.
