CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION JUNE 21, 2000 <br />Council Member O'Donnell asked if conditions could be added as the project goes <br />through the process. Staff advised conditions could not be added for the Dairy Queen. <br />The Dairy Queen is not a problem if all the other issues are resolved. No final plat has <br />been submitted. The plan is using a draft of a final plat. <br />This item will appear on the regular Council agenda Monday, June 26, 2000, 6:30 p.m. <br />LINO LAKES HISTORY PROJECT, RY-CHEL GAUSTAD <br />Staff distributed a handout regarding a proposed Lino Lakes history project. The <br />objective is to create a Lino Lakes history video that is informative and educational. A <br />resource to be used by residents, staff, Anoka County, and any other involved parties. <br />Also, to provide an opportunity to attract persons to become a part of a historical <br />committee inception. <br />Staff reviewed the project scope in detail noting the target completio <br />20001. She advised she support the request. <br />Mayor Bergeson advised he is not in favor of broadcasting the meetings. He stated there <br />are people who attend the meetings with business ideas for the purpose of feedback. <br />Many people may not be comfortable with meetings being broadcast on public television. <br />He stated there might be a better way to keep Council Members informed regarding the <br />discussions. <br />Council Member Reinert stated he is in support of audio taping the meetings. <br />5 <br />
