CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION JULY 5, 2000 <br />Mayor Bergeson stated that in the short term, the City does not have much control over <br />phasing. In the long term, the City has control in areas that need a rezone or additional <br />MUSA. <br />Council Member Carlson stated she needs more information regarding MUSA for the <br />next Comprehensive Plan work session. <br />Council Member Dahl asked if a phasing plan could be added as an amendment to the <br />Comprehensive Plan. Staff advised it is better to look at the overall picture as opposed to <br />adding amendments. <br />Council Member O'Donnell stated phasing is a tool utilized by the City, when <br />appropriate, to obtain a moderate growth rate which is based on the foundation of the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br />Staff advised that when the City Council is comfortable with the m <br />propose Plan, details of implementation will be discussed and <br />It was the consensus of Council to discuss a phasing pl Co ensive Plan <br />work session Saturday, July 8, 2000. <br />This item will appear on the regular Counci <br />TREE ORDINANCE UPDATE, J <br />, July 10, 2000, 6:30 p.m. <br />Staff advised the proposed T n. ` has gone through the Environmental Board <br />twice. The language is being cleaned <br />up in the ordin so asking for feedback from developers.
