CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION JULY 5, 2000 <br />Staff distributed a copy of a portion of the City's Public Improvement Financing policy <br />regarding Utility Trunk Charges. Staff read the section regarding Trunk Sewer Area and <br />Unit Charges, and Trunk Watermain Area and Unit Charges. <br />To present an example of trunk credits, staff referred to the minutes from the October 13, <br />1997, Council meeting, regarding an assessment roll for the Clearwater Creek 2nd <br />Addition. Staff reviewed the project assessment summary, assessment computations, and <br />trunk credits. <br />With regard to the Clearwater Creek Business Center, Council Member Reinert inquired <br />about the area that benefited from the additional depth. Staff referred to the map and <br />pointed out the areas that did and did benefit from the additional depth. <br />Mayor Bergeson inquired about the typical charge for trunk assessments for Twilight <br />Acres. Staff advised the charges on Nancy Drive are approximately $4,300. The typical <br />charge on Vicky Lane is $3,400.
