Mayor Bergeson stated discussions have been held regarding a special meeting and a deadline on requests. Council Member Carlson stated information from Al Brixius is needed before a meeting can be scheduled. Mayor Bergeson advised the meeting can be held to held details. No decision has to be made at that meeting. Council directed staff to schedule a Saturday meeting in August 2000, to discuss the requested changes to the land use plan. Staff will publish the meeting and notify residents. Council Member Reinert inquired if residents feel that West Shadow will eventually go through to 62nd Street. He asked if delaying the continuation will make residents happy.
