CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION JULY 19, 2000 <br />The City Engineer advised the purpose of the meeting is to address concerns and answer <br />questions about road improvements on 62nd Street. <br />Council Member Reinert inquired if residents feel that West Shadow will eventually go <br />through to 62nd Street. He asked if delaying the continuation will make residents happy. <br />Staff advised residents don't' want the road to go through at all. They want no <br />development in the area. The road has been planned to go through to 62nd Street for quite <br />some time. <br />Council Member Reinert asked if the long-range plan includes West Shadow continuing <br />to Ash Street. <br />The City Engineer advised it is unlikely the road will continue to Ash Street due to <br />development constraints and wetlands. <br />Mayor Bergeson pointed out that if the City never makes north/sou <br />accelerate the need for a larger road on Hodgson.
