CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION JULY 19, 2000 <br />• Mayor Bergeson suggested a letter should be sent to both Counties requesting they work <br />together on the project. The City of Shoreview should send a similar letter. <br />Mr. Jeff Heaser, resident of Lino Lakes, came forward and distributed a copy of Ramsey <br />County's plan for the highway. He also distributed a copy of the procedure Ramsey <br />County uses for this resident input regarding these types of issues. He stated the largest <br />part of the road is 62' from curb to curb. Turn back money is being used for the project. <br />Mayor Bergeson stated the plan is the same concept as County Road J. <br />Council Member Carlson stated a meeting with the City of Shoreview is a good idea. The <br />meeting should be open to the public. <br />The Council directed staff to contact the City officials from Shoreview to schedule a <br />Saturday meeting in August 2000.
