She introduced Ms. Jennifer Wong, Governor of the <br />2000 Minnesota Girls State <br />Ms. Wong came forward and stated Girls State is a wonderful program that would not be possible <br />without the American Legion. She gave an overview of the Girls State Program and the week she <br />spent there. She stated the program taught her not to take freedom for granted and to honor those who <br />have fought for that freedom. She stated the program also encouraged those in attendance to get <br />involved in government. She stated the program was beneficial to all that were involved. <br />Update on Twilight Acres — The City Administrator advised staff met with 11 residents last week <br />regarding Twilight Acres. The discussion included the following options that need to be explored <br />relating to failing septics: <br />1. Another survey to determine the level of the resident's willingness to pay for this <br />project. <br />2 <br />
