• <br />COUNCIL MINUTES AUGUST 14, 2000 <br />Council Member Reinert asked for clarification regarding the location of the vacated roadway. Staff <br />referred to a map noting the location is partially in Hugo. Hugo has vacated their portion contingent <br />upon a new roadway. <br />Mayor Bergeson asked if the trail is in Lino Lakes. Staff advised the trail is in both Lino Lakes and <br />Hugo. <br />The Public Services Director advised the proposed trail is a typical pedestrian trail. There have been <br />no discussions relating to horse trails because there is no land conducive to that type of trail. Horse <br />trails can be presented to the Park Board for discussion. <br />Mr. Dan Woodburn, 2247 Arthur Court, came forward and stated a year ago there were discussions <br />regarding connecting the commercial traffic. The discussion included the possibility of a north/south <br />road to County Road 14. He asked if there are plans for Hugo to extend the western exit for <br />commercial traffic. <br />Staff advised the road connection is centered around Main Stree +e pr w posed roadway. There <br />was a proposal to improve the roadway up to Cedar Street. e C nt ;> `studying that possibility. <br />Council Member Carlson stated the option that Hugo i pur ing o go across 61 along the northern <br />edge of the industrial site and not carrying traffic acr. ° .
