COUNCIL MINUTES AUGUST 14, 2000 <br />Mayor Bergeson advised the steps staff has outlined are appropriate. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />PUBLIC HEARING, Main Street Trunk Utilities, John Powell — Staff advised on July 24, 2000, <br />the City Council received the feasibility report for this project and set a date for a Public Hearing. In <br />order to allow additional time for discussion of the project schedule with the developer of Bluebill <br />Ponds and notification, staff is recommending the hearing be continued to August 28, 2000. <br />Council Member Reinert moved to continue PUBLIC HEARING, Main Street Trunk Utilities to <br />August 28, 2000. Council Member Dahl seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />FIRST READING, PUBLIC HEARING, Ordinance No. 13 — 00, Vacating Elmcrest Avenue <br />from 400 feet south of Main Street to Cedar Street, John Powell — Staff advised the developer of <br />the Wenzel Farm project in the City of Hugo has requested the vacati <br />portion of the Elmcrest Avenue right-of-way. This roadway is als <br />Lake Road. The purpose of the vacation is to allow the develo <br />landscaping and trail plan and provide a buffer between the r <br />commercial development in Lino Lakes. <br />The only access of concern to Lino Lakes in the prop <br />Training Facility driveway. She stated that currently, there are a <br />lot of large trucks going past her house. She asked how that will change. She asked how Cedar fits <br />with Elmcrest being taken away. <br />Staff referred to a map pointing out the location of the proposed roadway.
