• Minutes Joint Meeting of Lino Lakes City Council And Shoreview City Council October 2, 2000 5:30 p.m. Shoreview City Hall Present: From Shoreview: Mayor Sandy Martin, Council Members Mady Reiter, Ady Wickstrom, Blake Huffman, Tom Landwehr, Public Works Director Mark Maloney, City Manager Terry Schwerm. From Lino Lakes: Mayor John Bergeson, Council Members Donna Carlson, Caroline Dahl, Jeff O'Donnell, Jeff Reinert, City Engineer John Powell, City Administrator Linda Waite Smith. Mayor Martin opened the meeting and welcomed the Lino Lakes City Council. She noted the meeting had been requested by Lino Lakes to discuss proposed reconstruction of CSAH 49. Mayor Bergeson explained that Lino Lakes residents who reconstruction plans oppose the concept of a four -lane dj Council had heard that Ramsey County's plans for the very different from Anoka County's plans. Terry Schwerm explained that the Shoreview City Council will meet with Ramsey County representatives next week. Mayor Martin said Shoreview hasn't yet seen reasons to change CSAH 49 significantly, except at the intersection with County Road J. Council Member Reinert stated that during a presentation to Lino Lakes, Olson stated CSAH 49 would eventually be four lanes from 694 to 35W. Council Member Reiter noted that it has been stated that having four lanes from 694 to 35W is an alternative to fixing the bottlenecks and congestion on the freeways.
