• <br />Council Member Wickstrom asked if the intersection of CSAH and Tanglewood is <br />problematic. <br />City Manager Schwerin replied it is only problematic at certain times when the timing of <br />signals is not coordinated. <br />Anoka County Commissioner Margaret Langfeld addressed the two City Councils. She <br />said counties feel they are being dumped on by the state in transportation matters. The <br />timing of the Lino Lakes projects is driven by the availability of State turnback funds. <br />She noted that is response to earlier discussion, she believes a county cannot impose a <br />project a city does not want. She said recent legislation requires some type of arbitration <br />to occur if a county and city can't agree. <br />She stated that with today's aggressive drivers it is incumbent upon professionals to <br />design roads to be as safe as possible. She also noted that discus ongoing. <br />Council Member Reinert agreed that safety is a primary co .
