CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION OCTOBER 18, 2000 <br />Staff noted this information has been provided to the Planning and Zoning Board at the <br />October 11, 2000 meeting. <br />CSAH 49 RECONSTRUCTION UPDATE, JOHN POWELL <br />Staff advised a letter from the City has been sent to the County regarding this issue. A <br />response has not yet been received. The County Engineer is out of town. A meeting is <br />scheduled for November 2000. Staff advised they will follow up on the letter. <br />RESPONSE TO QUESTIONS FROM THE SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2000 <br />COUNCIL WORK SESSION, JOHN POWELL <br />Staff distributed a memo regarding responses to questions from the October 14, 2000, <br />Council work session relating to the status of the following issues: <br />1. Miller's on Main (Chad Wagner) <br />2. Dairy Queen (Archie Lessard) <br />3. Revised Park Dedication Fee <br />4. 90 -day Moratorium on Monopoles <br />Staff advised the memo is self explanatory. Wit the Dairy Queen site, <br />approval of Mr. Rehbein's final plat will be ced at e November 13, 2000, City <br />Council meeting. The City Attorney and M Rehb 's attorney have met, exchanged <br />correspondence, and appear to be in agr e • n w to address the development, <br />infrastructure, and easement costs � • ails are being incorporated into a development <br />agreement that will be considere. - 1 e final plat. D L REPORT, JOHN POWELL <br />Staff distributed a mem reg ding the Aenon Place Pond level that included information <br />from Jason Wedal, TKD . The memo advised that the City put in 300,000 gallons of <br />water into the pond. Adding this water raised the level of the pond by about 2.7 feet. <br />However, since that time, the level has dropped about 3.4 feet to a level lower than the <br />pre -filling elevation. <br />Staff recommended the City convey this pond level information to the neighborhood and <br />that no more water be added from the City's system. <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE, DAN TESCH <br />Council Member Reinert advised the Council has covered densities and MUSA and is <br />moving toward the land use. <br />4 <br />
