COUNCIL MINUTES NOVEMBER 13, 2000 <br />The City is very grateful to the Ladies Auxiliary for all there past and present donations to the City's <br />programs. <br />Council Member Carlson moved to accept the donation received from the Ladies Auxiliary to the <br />Centennial Fire District, as presented. Council Member Dahl seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />Reliant Energy Minnegasco, Arnold Hendrickson - Mr. Hendrickson came forward and thanked <br />the Council and City staff for renewing the contract with Reliant Energy Minnegasco. He stated he <br />looks forward to the next 30 years of business. He also thanked the City for the smooth process in <br />which the City utilized to renew the contract. <br />Mayor Bergeson advised the election in Lino Lakes went very smooth <br />report. He thanked Marilyn Anderson and all the judges. To be eligible for <br />appointment, the nominee must re hin e watershed district boundaries, be eligible to vote in <br />the district, and not be a public rhthe county state or federal government (except that a soil <br />and water conservation supe b appointed). <br />Mr. Andy Cardinal, a Lin <br />has been responsive to the <br />environment. <br />ident, has represented Anoka County since 1972. Mr. Cardinal <br />eds of Lino Lakes while simultaneously observed sensitivity to the <br />Mayor Bergeson stated Mr. Cardinal has served the community very well for a number of years. <br />Council Member Carlson moved to adopt Resolution No. 00 —103, as presented. Council Member <br />Dahl seconded the motion. <br />Council Member Carlson stated Mr. Cardinal has been an excellent member and Chair of the Board. <br />He is well versed in representing Lino Lakes and its residents. She stated it is an honor to have him <br />serve again. She requested that a copy of the letter that is sent to the County also be sent to Mr. <br />Cardinal. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />2 <br />
