Council <br />carrie • unanimously. <br />y Clerk's office. <br />Receive Springsted Report al IR 'pact of Town Center, (3/5 Vote Required), Dan Tesch — <br />Administration Director - sch a• e• on January 22, 2001, the City Council authorized the <br />preparation of an economi " y study for the Town Center area of the City and commissioned <br />Springsted, Inc. to do the s • y. ' he study was to address the elements and the areas described in the <br />scope of services prepared b he City's senior management team. <br />Jerry Shannon and Paul Steinman of Springsted, Inc. presented the completed report to the City <br />Council at their work session held on April 18, 2001. A copy of the report was distributed to Council <br />at that meeting. Although there are still many questions to be addressed in response to the report, <br />Council indicated that it would be appropriate to formally receive the report at this time and to <br />explore the analysis in greater detail at a future meeting. <br />Therefore, staff is recommending that the Council pass a motion formally receiving the Town Center <br />Fiscal Impact Analysis prepared by Springsted, Inc. A simple majority is needed to approve this <br />motion. <br />Council Member Carlson moved to formally receive the Town Center Fiscal Impact Analysis, as <br />presented.
