COUNCIL MINUTES JUNE 11, 2001 <br />Mayor Bergeson believed purchasing right-of-way was looking out into the future and that the actual <br />road construction was something not so far out into the future. He stated it was in the public interest <br />to purchase adequate right-of-way when it was affordable. <br />Motion carried with Mayor Bergeson voting no. <br />Resolution No. 01— 80, Revised Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Centerville for 21st <br />Avenue Reconstruction — City Engineer Powell explained after discussions with the City of <br />Centerville, a Joint Powers Agreement for 21st Avenue was approved by the Lino Lakes City Council <br />on August 10, 1998. Minor changes to the JPA were proposed. He explained which items were <br />effected. Staff reviewed the changes and recommended approval. <br />Mayor Bergeson asked about the City of Centerville's commitment to this Agreement. City Engineer <br />Powell replied he had spoken with the City of Centerville and they were in agreement. <br />Council Member Reinert moved to adopt Resolution No. 01— 80, prese d.
