COUNCIL MINUTES AUGUST 13, 2001 <br />Council Member Carlson clarified that the City has the option to reconstruct Elm Street and then <br />borrow ahead for 62nd Street and Holly Drive. City Engineer Powell stated the Council can make the <br />decision to borrow ahead or bond for the projects. <br />Mayor Bergeson inquired about the scope of Holly Drive. City Engineer Powell stated Holly Drive <br />would probably take 4-5 years of allocation. <br />Council Member Carlson stated she is concerned about road construction before a project goes in. <br />The roads should be built before the development goes in. <br />Council Member Dahl stated she agrees that roads should be put in before the development goes in. <br />She indicated she is still in favor of the extension to County Road J. <br />Mayor Bergeson advised there is a motion on the table to approve the.ne as outlined by staff.
