CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION SEPTEMBER 5, 2001 <br />CITIZENOBSERVER.COM, DAVE PECCHIA <br />Chief Pecchia stated citizenobserver.com is the new web site for the Police Department. <br />The Lino Lakes State Bank is sponsoring the web site and there is no charge to the City. <br />The web site will be used as another means of communication with citizens. Staff has <br />started to build the City's portion of the web site. <br />MARSHAN TOWNHOMES, DAVE PECCHIA <br />Chief Pecchia stated the problems at Marshan Townhomes is a building inspection issue. <br />Sergeant Hammes and the City Administrator have met with the Homeowner's <br />Association. The City Attorney is also involved in this issue. The City Attorney has <br />indicated the building inspectors were within their inspection requirements. There is <br />correspondence between the parties involved and the City Administrator will be giving <br />the Council another update. <br />Council Member Reinert stated he wants the options for the t - as residents laid <br />out. <br />Council Member Carlson stated a new issue is con rns bou ssing cement under <br />garage floors and driveways. <br />Chief Pecchia stated Pete Kluegel is review <br />the homes he has inspected are up to co <br />report presented at the next work ses <br />POSSIBLE STATE STRI F '' CHIA <br />ue. Mr. Kluegel has indicated that <br />formation will be included in the <br />Chief Pecchia advised if ..e go on strike it will effect the prison facility and there <br />will be picket lines. aff wi eeting with the prison for off-site unloading of <br />supplies. It is anticipa " f_� ere will be a lot of media coverage. <br />Prison staff has indicate s, "hey have adequate staffing within the perimeter of the facility. <br />There are issues for outside of the facility and additional help will be needed. <br />CSAH 49 RECONSTRUCTION UPDATE, JOHN POWELL <br />City Engineer Powell distributed and reviewed a memo regarding the CSAH 49 project <br />that included a schedule and comments. The City has a general mailing list and will <br />extend the opportunity to attend to other residents and agencies. The Council will be <br />updated after every meeting. <br />Council Member Carlson requested a copy of the memo be mailed to Mrs. Heaser, <br />resident of Lino Lakes. <br />6 <br />
