• <br />COUNCIL MINUTES SEPTEMBER 10, 2001 <br />Motion on the amendment failed with Council Member O'Donnell, Reinert and Mayor Bergeson <br />voting no. <br />Council Member Carlson asked for clarification on the subsidy figures. Finance Director Rolek <br />clarified the resolution and the subsidy figures within the resolution. <br />Council Member Carlson stated that because the developer won't compromise on the $105,000 in <br />waived fees, she cannot support the business subsidy. <br />Motion carried with Council Member Carlson and Dahl voting no. <br />Resolution No. 01 — 127 can be found in the City Clerk's office. <br />Mayor Bergeson called for a short break at 11:00 p.m. <br />Mayor Bergeson reconvened the meeting at 11:10 p.m. He asked if the Co cil will continue to <br />finish the meeting in spite of the time. <br />It was the consensus of Council to continue the meeting. <br />Proposed 2002 General Fund Operating Budget an <br />Resolution No. 01-131, Adopting the Propose <br />Rolek — Finance Director Rolek advised the Mi <br />to adopt and certify a proposed 2002 oper <br />y Payable in 2002; <br />1 Fund Operating Budget, Al <br />to Statutes require the City of Lino Lakes <br />or before September 15`h of each year. <br />The 2002 budget is proposed wit c • se over the 2001 budget. The City experienced a <br />market value growth of 13.52 <br />The departmental bud' - is wi the proposed budget will be further reviewed by the City Council <br />and staff between Sept 1 and December 10th, for changes, if needed. <br />Council Member Carls •:' 'inquired about the exact amount of HACA from last year. Finance Director <br />Rolek stated $332,000 was received last year but the City's allotment was $460,000. <br />Council Member Carlson thanked Finance Director Rolek and the department head for their work on <br />the budget noting this is not the first time the Council has discussed this issue. <br />Council Member Carlson moved to adopt Resolution No. 01 — 131, as presented. Council Member <br />Reinert seconded the motion.
