CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />OCTOBER 3, 2001 <br />Mr. Joe Zych, resident of Lino Lakes, asked what the acceptable level is for the pond and <br />if a stake will be put in to monitor the depth. <br />City Engineer Powell advised the Council could set that at any level they w . He <br />recommended against putting a permanent marker in due to the burden on C aff of <br />maintaining the level of the pond. He recommended the City grade the pond <br />out at 896 feet. <br />s <br />Council Member O'Donnell inquired about the clay bottom option. City E <br />stated that is an option but he does not believe any alterations to the . o d wi <br />the problems of wet basements in the area. He stated he wants a s <br />any future maintenance. <br />Mr. Zych stated his concern relates to what should be done <br />the pond could be pumped regularly. In an effort to continue with that, the Club <br />had requeste`'direction regarding the addition of a larger site and expansion to have the <br />ability for larger shows and secure the facilities. There was resistance from the neighbors <br />so a steering committee was put together to find a new home. The Club has gone through <br />2 <br />
