COUNCIL MINUTES <br />OCTOBER 8, 2001 <br />Department to conduct background checks on transient merchants, peddlers, canvassers and solicitors. <br />Ordinance 20 — 01 will require a second reading. <br />Councilmember Carlson moved to approve FIRST READING of Ordinance No. 20 01, as <br />presented. Councilmember O'Donnell seconded the motion. <br />Councilmember Carlson voted yea. Councilmember O'Donnell voted yea. Councilmember Reinert <br />voted yea. Councilmember Dahl voted yea. Mayor Bergeson voted yea. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />FIRST READING, Ordinance No. 19 — 01, Amending the Lino L <br />Lino Lakes Police Department to Conduct Background Checks <br />Administration Director Tesch advised last year the Council amende <br />Lakes Police Department to conduct background checks on fi <br />the City. Staff referred to a copy of the petition and a sketch of the <br />project area included in the packets.
