COUNCIL MINUTES <br />OCTOBER 22, 2001 <br />City Planner Smyser reviewed the Site and Building Plan. Staff recognthe resolution made by the Boards. <br />City Planner Smyser review • ri een ` 9) conditions of approval as found in the resolution and <br />recommended by staff. <br />Discussion by Council ocused on the incomplete noise testing and concerns with screening <br />of the new facility to be u <br />Councilmember Carlson stated she held two (2) concerns, consideration of the noise report and the <br />price of trees quoted to the City for the purpose of screening. <br />Community Development Director Grochala clarified the price of trees quoted to the City was a <br />general cost for fairly similar trees that are to be planted. <br />Councilmember O'Donnell asked for clarification of where trees were to be planted in order to <br />provide an effective screen. He asked specifically would trees be planted on the burm to the north of <br />the facility. <br />City Planner Smyser clarified the 1997 agreement would not have screened the new facility <br />adequately; that has been changed in the 2001 amendments.
