CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION DECEMBER 12, 2001 <br />Councilmember Carlson stated she hopes the County is willing to compromise from the <br />plans they presented last year. <br />Community Development Director Grochala stated staff definitely feels the City has the <br />opportunity to get a plan more consistent with the residents' needs. <br />Councilmember Carlson stated she is very concerned that the County is not negotiating <br />with the residents. Community Development Director Grochala stated the group is <br />deciding what to negotiate and more information is needed before a plan is presented to <br />the County. <br />City Engineer Powell stated the City and residents need to be real' - e indicated he <br />does not necessarily believe the County will compromise their st dards sponse to <br />the residents' plan. Mr. Olson also indicated he would take another plan to the County. She stated <br />she wants to see a plan go through and does not want the City or residents to lose the <br />opportunity for input. Staff is doing a good job working with the residents. <br />
