Karen Parsons, 6409 Cassiopeia Court, stated she supported the reconstruction of Holly Drive being on the City's Five -Year Financial Plan. She too was concerned for the safety of her children, as well as the entire neighborhood. She suggested the City consider possible liability issues since this has been an ongoing issue since 1994 and the City has been warned many times in the past about the dangerous conditions on Holly Drive. She stated she too would prefer that the project be moved up on the schedule. At 6:47 p.m., Councilmember Dahl moved to continue the public hearing on the Five -Year Financial Plan for 2002 through 2006 to the Monday, June 10, 2002 City Council meeting. Councilmember Reinert seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Councilmember Dahl noted the fact that there are no trails mentioned and asked that Public Services Director DeG trails in this area will be included on the City's trails Public Services Director DeGardner stated the C transportation trail along Holly Drive. Councilmember Dahl asked if it would be possible for the trail to be constructed on the other side of Holly Drive so that it could extend to County Road J. Public Services Director DeGardner stated the detailed designs would dictate on which side of the road the trail would be extended. Mayor Bergeson suggested that when the City Council next discusses the proposed Five -Year Financial Plan, whatever detail is available regarding the trail along Holly Drive be reported. Consideration of Resolution No. 02-40, Adopting Five -Year Financial Plan, 2002 through 2006, Al Rolek, City Finance Director Rolek recommended that this item be tabled to the June 10, 2002 City Council meeting.
