COUNCIL MINUTES MAY 13, 2002 <br />Mr. Shannon stated the City will receive proposals for the bonds on Monday, June 24, 2002 until <br />11:00 a.m. at the offices of Springsted, Inc. and the proposals will be brought to the City Council for <br />consideration of award. He stated the City is obligated to obtain a rating for this issue and the City is <br />currently holds a rating of three. <br />Councilmember O'Donnell moved to adopt Resolution No. 02-41, Providing for the Issuance and <br />Sale of $2,730,000 G.O. Improvement Bonds, Series 2002A. Councilmember Reinert seconded the <br />motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 02-41 can be found in the City Clerk's office. <br />ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT, LINDA NOAITE SMITH <br />Consideration of Hiring Patrick Moonen as a full-time Build <br />City Administrator Waite Smith advised the City's 2002 Op <br />full-time building inspector. Staff has come up with a contract that they feel is fair to both <br />the City and the sergeants. The City's contribution to the sergeant's monthly insurance premium is <br />rising to the same level as the rest of City employees. They will also receive a 3% cost of living, and <br />.5% market raise in both years of this two-year contract. <br />City Administrator Waite Smith advised staff recommends approval of the two-year contract with <br />L.E.L.S. <br />Councilmember Dahl moved to approve the two-year contract with L.E.L.S. Councilmember <br />O'Donnell seconded the motion. <br />
