JOINT COUNCIL MEETING JUNE 17, 2002 <br />Mayor Bergeson stated this issue has been discussed in the past and the City was not able <br />to move forward. He stated this is a great opportunity to get the project started. <br />Councilmember Carlson inquired about the cost of getting the City involved in the <br />program. <br />Councilmember Capra stated the cost will be minimal. The City may rely on donations <br />from an organization to get started. The program will have a better idea about the cost <br />when a meeting is held this fall. She suggested an amount of $500.00 be included in the <br />budget to get started with the program. The program will be providing a "how to" for the <br />right liaison. <br />Mayor Bergeson stated he hoped Councilmember Capra would help the City get involved <br />in this project. <br />Councilmember Capra stated she will help the City get startea . •• rk will begin in the <br />fall. <br />ADJOURN <br />Mayor Swedberg thanked everyone for attending a me'' ng and having the opportunity <br />for the two cities to meet and discuss various ' sue . e noted the City Council in <br />Centerville is up for election this fall but ho 4 = joint meetings will continue with <br />the new Council.
