COUNCIL MINUTES JULY 8, 2002 <br />Community Development Director Grochala indicated the City of Hugo has passed a resolution on <br />July 1, 2002 concurring with Washington County's recommendation. <br />Community Development Director Grochala advised City staff recommends the adoption of <br />Resolution No. 02-73, Concurring with Washington County Regarding Proposed CSAH 8/14 <br />Reconstruction Alignments. <br />Councilmember Reinert requested confirmation that the proposed resolution only addressed the <br />alternative alignments and not what type of road CSAH 8/14 will become. Community Development <br />Director Grochala stated this was correct. He noted there is a proposal for CSAH 8/14 to become a <br />four -lane divided roadway between TH 61 and I -35E. <br />Councilmember Reinert questioned whether the proposed action would also agree with the roadway <br />being widened to four lane within the City of Lino Lakes up to E. Community Development <br />Director Grochala indicated the proposed resolution referenced w - t that Washington County has <br />received Federal funding to reconstruct CSAH 8/14 between I-3 o Lakes and Trunk Highway <br />61 in Hugo as a four -lane highway and has prepared an alte ,@°• ysis studying alignment <br />alternatives along Main Street in Lino Lakes and Frenchm. oar°'n Hugo. Therefore, he believed <br />by passing this resolution, the City Council would not to : ' e giving consent to the roadway <br />plans, other than the review of the proposed alignme datives and the preparation of an <br />Environmental Assessment. <br />Councilmember Reinert requested confirmatio F . roj ect did not include the reconstruction of <br />CSAH 8/14 west of I -35E.
