CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION JULY 17, 2002 <br />City Planner Smyser advised the map will have to be changed if the changes are <br />submitted to the Metropolitan Council. <br />Councilmember O'Donnell stated he does not see that the City has any alternatives. He <br />stated that if the changes are not accepted, the City does have grounds to go back and do <br />more negotiating. He indicated he is in favor of submitting the proposed changes. <br />Mayor Bergeson stated he is also in favor of submitting the proposed changes. <br />Councilmember Reinert stated he does not love the proposed changes but does want to <br />get the Plan approved by the Metropolitan Council. <br />Councilmember Dahl stated she is worried that the Metropolitan Council will come back <br />and ask the Council to revise more aspects of the Plan. <br />Councilmember Carlson stated she is concerned about time, <br />the 7575 households number.
