Community s ctor Grochala explained this had been a <br />recommendation of City staf us er had been no landscaping proposed along the western <br />edge. He indicated the zoning the property to the west of the subject site is zoned R-1 and the City <br />ordinance requires a commercial evelopment to provide landscaping along edges adjacent to <br />residential property. He noted that this recommendation had predated the neighborhood concerns that <br />were expressed during the Planning and Zoning Board meeting. <br />Councilmember Carlson noted page four of the staff report discussed the 36 Netlawn turf parking <br />spaces. She questioned where the Netlawn parking spaces were proposed to be located and how <br />much of the site is included in the green space requirement. Ms. Sherman showed the locations of the <br />Netlawn parking spaces, which were to be located along the edges of the property so that they are the <br />last parking spaces used. <br />Councilmember Carlson questioned where the other green spaces on the site were proposed, in <br />addition to the Netlawn parking spaces. Ms. Sherman showed on the landscape plan the proposed <br />green spaces, which included the boulevard area. <br />19 <br />
