COUNCIL MINUTES SEPTEMBER 23, 2002 <br />Mark Gobran, 6348 Painted Turtle Road, spoke in favor of retail development. He stated he moved <br />from Roseville about nine and one-half years ago where he had lived in an area with near -by <br />convenience stores, amenities, and a school. He stated he finds that to be a nice community and <br />thinks it would be a benefit to Lino Lakes to allow small commercial areas within residential areas <br />which will also expand the tax base. <br />Community Development Director Grochala recommended this be tabled to the November 28, 2002 <br />Council meeting, unless a plan is completed prior to that date. He stated the Council will be updated <br />on the progress being made at a future Council work session. <br />Mr. Goertz stated he suggested November 28, 2002 to assure he has enough time to work with Anoka <br />County. He suggested that the Council be updated at the work session prior to the November 25, <br />2002 Council meeting. <br />Councilmember Reinert moved to table consideration of the Spi <br />Ordinance No 08-02, and Resolution No. 02-88 to the Novembe <br />update at the November 6, 2002 Council work session. Co <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />s Commercial Development, <br />2 Council meeting with an <br />r Dahl seconded the motion. <br />Consider First Reading of Ordinance No. 09-02 catin Drainage and Utility Easement, Lot 3 <br />and Lot 4, Block 1, Pheasant Hills 9th, (Brause pro . rty), Public Hearing, Tanda Gretz — <br />Associate Planner Gretz explained that agenda an application for a drainage and utility <br />easement vacation by Mr. Theodore Brausen Brausen, who lives at 6763 Timberwolf Trail, has <br />purchased the adjacent lot to the south of e: d has now combined the two lots into a single <br />tax parcel. Mr. Brausen would like to v a'"A to side yard drainage and utility easements that run the <br />length of the lot line separating the e has constructed a pool on the southern lot. <br />Associate Planner Gretz noted that t ect easement area exists as two standard five-foot side <br />yard easements for Lot 3 an :lo, of the Pheasant Hills 9th Addition. The easement area <br />measures approximately 10' 4'. " ity ngineer Studenski reports that there are no utilities or <br />storm sewers located in the eas s ent area.
