• COUNCIL MINUTES SEPTEMBER 23, 2002 Associate Planner Gretz stated that issue was raised by the Planning and Zoning Board but with eleven acres if you increase the size of this to one acre, it reduces the remaining portion to less than ten acres. Mr. Lindahl stated they would be happy to make it a 1.5 acre lot with the remaining parcel to be 9.5 acres. However, he wants to assure that a building permit would be allowed for a 9.5 acre lot. Councilmember Dahl asked if a shared driveway arrangement would help. Mayor Bergeson stated access is not an issue. Mr. Lindahl stated Tract A (10 acres) has access from the street to the east without impacting the other access. Mayor Bergeson asked about the two previous approvals. Assoc understanding that was a lot of record and not a created lot throu variance was not needed. lanner Gretz stated it was her or subdivision. Mr. Lindahl stated five years ago wh - x. urcliased this property, it was the concept to keep the old farmstead on one acre. He ode sure he had eleven acres which satisfied the City's regulation and it was purchas a bas s that it could be done. He noted that the issue being raised tonight was not raised at e Planning and Zoning Board meeting or when the neighbor down the street got approval for less t 330 feet of frontage. He stated he does not think this was properly prepared for Council decision since the right-of-way is a surprise issue just raised tonight. 25
