COUNCIL MINUTES JANUARY 27, 2003 APPROVED 1 Center as well as proposed future development on the Miller Farm, located immediately to the south. • 2 The letter identified the need for many improvements. 3 4 Community Development Director Grochala explained that since the responsibilities for the 5 improvements are shared between two developers it is staff's opinion that a City prepared report 6 would be advantageous to insure that a coordinated improvement plan is prepared. Both developers 7 have requested that the city prepare the report and have agreed to equally split the costs of its 8 preparation. Therefore, at staff's request, TKDA, the City's Engineer, has submitted a proposal to 9 prepare a feasibility study for the above referenced improvements for a not to exceed cost of $7,400. 10 The feasibility study is intended to better delineate the extent of improvements and associated costs. 11 12 Community Development Director Grochala advised City staff recommends the adoption of 13 Resolution No. 03-13, Authorizing Preparation of Feasibility Study, CSAR 10 (Birch Street)/CSAH 14 49 (Hodgson Road) Improvements. 15 16 Councilmember Dahl moved to adopt Resolution No. 03-13, Authorizing Preparation of Report on 17 Improvement CSAH 49/CSAH 10. She would like wording added to indicate that she said 'as the whole Council is not 41 present and it is possible it would fail on a 2:2 vote'. 42 43 Councilmember Carlson moved to approve the December 9, 2002 City Council Meeting and the 44 December 16, 2002 City Council Meeting, as amended.
