Police Department Merger 512 513 Councilmember Carlson indicated she received an e-mail from Councilmember Dahl that she also had 514 requested this topic be added to the agenda. She advised they had a work session last week, and for 515 the third time in consecutive work sessions they discussed the proposed police department merger. 516 She indicated each time they have come to the same decisions. She further advised on July 23, an e- 517 mail went out to other administrators for the involved cities with questions. She stated the members 518 from the other cities are asking about an outcome, and she believes they had an outcome. She 519 indicated there were three of them who said the proposal before them is not one they could accept, 520 and no one said anything differently. She has heard they may discuss this again at the budget 521 meeting, but has not been told specifically or seen notice that it will be discussed at the budget 522 meeting. She indicated her concern is they have talked about this three times already. 523 524 Mayor Bergeson stated there were only three Councilmembers at the last work session, and this is a •25 significant decision.
