• • CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION NOVEMBER 5, 2003 APPROVED 1 2 The Council determined a fourth individual would be added to the short list of candidates 3 that are scheduled for a second interview. 4 5 The Council also determined the process of the City Administrator search would 6 continue. Questions surrounding legal and pension issues would be answered in regard to 7 a current staff member applying for the position. 8 9 COUNCIL GUIDELINES, COUNCILMEMBER O'DONNELL 10 11 Councilmember O'Donnell indicated he requested the Council Guidelines be added to the 12 agenda. He advised the Council and City Attorney made the initial draft and 13 modifications. He stated he would like the issue of Council Guidelines to move forward 14 and be approved by the Council. 15 16 Councilmember Carlson stated she would like to schedule a meeting to discuss the draft. 17 She also indicated she wanted her suggestions and Councilmember Dahl's suggestions to 18 be a part of the document. 19 20 Councilmember O'Donnell stated the Council could schedule a meeting with the 21 understanding that the Council complete the guidelines or determine the Council should 22 not approve the guidelines. 23 24 The Council scheduled a special work session meeting to discuss Council Guidelines 25 Wednesday, November 12, 5:30 p.m. Staff will distribute an updated draft of the 26 guidelines prior to the meeting. 27 28 REGULAR AGENDA, NOVEMBER 10, 2003 29 30 There were no changes to the regular agenda. 31 32 Mayor Bergeson advised a discussion regarding the failure of the road referendum should 33 be put on a future agenda.
