Public Hearing, Annual Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program, Jim Jacques <br />202 <br />203 Mr. Jim Jacques, TKDA summarized the report providing background on the Storm Water Pollution <br />204 Prevention Program. He indicated that tonight he would briefly present what they have done in 2003, <br />205 and what they plan to do in 2004. He stated he was open for input, which would be incorporated into <br />206 the recommendations for 2004. He indicated it is his intention to be brief because it is important to <br />207 get input, if there is input, to move forward. <br />208 <br />209 Mr. Jacques advised the City committed to implementation of six control measures, which included <br />210 Public Education and Outreach; Public Participation and Involvement; Illicit Discharge Detection and <br />211 Elimination; Construction Site Runoff Control; Pollution Prevention / Good Housekeeping; and Post <br />212 Construction Runoff. He stated by addressing these six areas Lino Lakes receives a permit to <br />213 discharge into the Storm/Sewer system. He reviewed the steps taken in 2003 for each of the six <br />214 measures and outlined what would be done for each measure in 2004. <br />215 <br />•16 Councilmember Carlson asked who the members are of the Storm Water Committee, wondering if it <br />217 was staff members. Mr. Jacques indicated it is Lino Lakes Environmental Committee. <br />218 <br />219 Mayor Bergeson opened the public hearing at 7:25 p.m. <br />220 <br />221 Hearing no public input, Councilmember Carlson moved to close the public hearing at 7:25 p.m. <br />222 Councilmember Reinert seconded the motion. <br />223 <br />224 Motion carried unanimously. <br />225 <br />226 B. Consideration of FIRST READING of Ordinance No. 03-04, Vacating Drainage and <br />227 Utility Easements and Accepting New Easements, Lot 2, Block 1, Oak Brook Peninsula, <br />228 Jim Studenski <br />229 <br />230 Community Development Director Grochala indicated Staff is not prepared to make a <br />231 recommendation, and requested the Council open the public hearing and continue it until the next <br />232 Council meeting. <br />233 <br />234 Mayor Bergeson opened the public hearing at 7:27 p.m. <br />235 <br />236 Councilmember Dahl moved to continue the public hearing to the March 8, 2004 City Council <br />237 meeting.
