Consideration of Resolution No. 04-28, Approving Development Contract for <br />244 Millers Crossroads. <br />245 <br />246 City Planner Smyser summarized the Staff report, indicating the Council did receive a revised <br />247 development agreement, which starting on page two is dated February 20, 2004. <br />248 <br />249 Mayor Bergeson asked if there were any significant changes to the revised development agreement. <br />250 City Planner Smyser stated it was mostly wordsmithing by the developer's attorney, and the City's <br />251 attorney has reviewed the revisions and approves. <br />252 <br />253 Councilmember Stoltz moved to adopt Resolution No. 04-28 approving the Development Agreement <br />254 for Millers Crossroads. Councilmember Carlson seconded the motion. <br />255 <br />256 Vote: 4 Ayes, 1 Nay. Motion carried. Consideration of Resolution No. 04-24, Approving Final Plat for Millers <br />261 Crossroads <br />262 <br />63 City Planner Smyser summarized the Staff report, advising Staff recommends approval of the <br />ii64 Resolution. <br />265 <br />266 Councilmember Carlson noted the units along Ware Road are single story, and asked what type of <br />267 units are at the south end of the property. City Planner Smyser indicated the units along the south end <br />268 are one-story also. <br />269 <br />270 Greg Schling introduced himself, noting he was representing the applicant. <br />271 <br />272 Councilmember Carlson indicated she was at a community event and had two couples ask for <br />273 information on the townhomes. She stated one was a long-time resident who was interested for <br />274 herself, and the other was a resident whose mother is looking to move to Lino Lakes to be closer. <br />275 <br />276 Mr. Schling indicated the marketing department is putting together information on the units. <br />277 <br />278 Councilmember Carlson commented she grew up in White Bear Lake when Bruggeman first started <br />279 to build. She remembers what a good reputation they had then and continue to have now. She is glad <br />280 they are building in Lino Lakes. <br />281 <br />282 Councilmember Dahl thanked Mr. Schling for being so gracious and working with the City Council, <br />283 especially her. She stated she had concerns on Ware Road, and the developer has worked with her <br />284 and eliminated one unit, and made it gentler to the residents on the other side of Ware Road so it <br />285 would not be so blunt and dense. She indicated Bruggeman also has some homes in Forest Lake that <br />86 she visited during the Parade of Homes and she was impressed. She stated she assumes Bruggeman's <br />io <br />6 <br />
