COUNCIL MINUTES APRIL 12, 2004 <br />APPROVED <br />1 Ordinance No. 06-04 can be found in the City Clerk's office, and will become effect 30 days from <br />• 2 publication. <br />3 <br />4 C. Public Hearing, Consider FIRST READING of Ordinance No. 07-04, Vacating Drainage <br />5 and Utility Easement, for property located at 125 Ash Street (Rice Creek Covenant <br />6 Church). Jeff Smyser <br />7 <br />8 City Planner Smyser stated that Rice Creek Covenant Church has submitted an application to further <br />9 develop its current site at 125 Ash Street, and that the application includes several elements. He <br />10 stated the project was continued at the March Planning & Zoning meeting and will be considered <br />11 further at the April 14 Planning & Zoning meeting. <br />12 <br />13 City Planner Smyser recommended to the Council that since the project has not been to the Planning <br />14 & Zoning Board yet, that the Council open the public hearing and then continue the matter to the May <br />15 10th meeting when the entire project will come to the City Council for consideration. <br />16 <br />17 Mayor Bergeson opened the public hearing at 6:57 p.m. <br />18 <br />19 Councilmember Reinert moved to continue the public hearing to the May 14, 2004 regular City <br />20 Council meeting. Councilmember Dahl seconded the motion. <br />21 <br />22 Motion carried unanimously. <br />23 <br />24 D. Public Hearing, Consider FIRST READING of Ordinance No. 08-04, Vacating Drainage <br />•25 and Utility Easement, Outlot A, Highland Meadows East, Jeff Smyser. <br />26 <br />27 City Planner Smyser explained this Ordinance is a different project, but there is the same <br />28 recommendation as the previous item on the agenda. <br />29 <br />30 Mayor Bergeson opened the public hearing at 6:59 p.m. <br />31 <br />32 Councilmember Carlson moved to continue the public hearing to the May 14, 2004 regular City <br />33 Council meeting. Councilmember Dahl seconded the motion. <br />34 <br />35 Motion carried unanimously. <br />36 <br />37 E. Century Farm North, Jeff Smyser <br />38 i. Consideration of Resolution No. 04-43, Approving Final Plat, Century Farm <br />39 North 2nd Addition, Jeff Smyser <br />40 <br />41 City Planner Smyser stated the preliminary plan for Century Farm was approved on April 26, 2003, <br />42 and the final plat for phase one was approved in July of 2003. He stated what is before the Council <br />43 today is the final plat for the 2nd Addition, alternatively known as phase two. <br />44 <br />45 City Planner Smyser announced that since the work session, they had received four options for the <br />46 color scheme, and they are satisfied that that condition of approval from the preliminary plat has been <br />47 fulfilled and meets requirements regarding the standards. <br />•48 <br />5 <br />
