CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION SEPTEMBER 22, 2004 APPROVED 1 of the City. He referred to correspondence from Royalty Coordinator for Blue Heron 1111 2 Days and asked if the Council has any interest in City involvement with a Lino Lakes 3 parade float. 4 5 Council directed staff to obtain more information and suggested the possibility of 6 promoting the City's 50th Anniversary during next year's festival. 7 8 MINUTES, COUNCILMEMBER CARLSON 9 10 Councilmember Carlson referred to and read minutes from two previous Planning & 11 Zoning Board meetings in regard to a citizen's comments. She stated the citizen was very 12 angry and did not continue to watch the Planning & Zoning Board meeting. 13 14 UPDATE ON INDIVIDUAL SEWER SYSTEMS, MICHAEL GROCHALA 15 16 Community Development Director Grochala stated the City requires sewer systems to be 17 inspected every three years. Staff has been working with many residents in the past 18 months that were not pumping their systems. Two property owners are not cooperating 19 with the City in regard to the sewer system requirements. The only option for the City is 20 to involve the City Attorney and pursue the civil suit process due to the violations. 21 22 REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS 23 • 24 Item 6B, Pheasant Hills Preserve, 12th Addition — Council directed staff to confer with the 25 City Attorney regarding securities and the removal of any materials if construction of the 26 bridge is terminated due to the DNR deadline.
