CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION SEPTEMBER 22, 2004 <br />APPROVED <br />1 of the City. He referred to correspondence from Royalty Coordinator for Blue Heron <br />1111 2 Days and asked if the Council has any interest in City involvement with a Lino Lakes <br />3 parade float. <br />4 <br />5 Council directed staff to obtain more information and suggested the possibility of <br />6 promoting the City's 50th Anniversary during next year's festival. <br />7 <br />8 MINUTES, COUNCILMEMBER CARLSON <br />9 <br />10 Councilmember Carlson referred to and read minutes from two previous Planning & <br />11 Zoning Board meetings in regard to a citizen's comments. She stated the citizen was very <br />12 angry and did not continue to watch the Planning & Zoning Board meeting. <br />13 <br />14 UPDATE ON INDIVIDUAL SEWER SYSTEMS, MICHAEL GROCHALA <br />15 <br />16 Community Development Director Grochala stated the City requires sewer systems to be <br />17 inspected every three years. Staff has been working with many residents in the past <br />18 months that were not pumping their systems. Two property owners are not cooperating <br />19 with the City in regard to the sewer system requirements. The only option for the City is <br />20 to involve the City Attorney and pursue the civil suit process due to the violations. <br />21 <br />22 REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS <br />23 <br />• 24 Item 6B, Pheasant Hills Preserve, 12th Addition — Council directed staff to confer with the <br />25 City Attorney regarding securities and the removal of any materials if construction of the <br />26 bridge is terminated due to the DNR deadline.
