North Central was purchased by Center Point and North Central had <br />serviced parts of Lino Lakes for many years. <br />City Administrator Heitke advised the City has made an inquiry to Center Point regarding <br />the number of service lines this will affect in Lino Lakes as far as replacement and the <br />timeline. He indicated he would update the Council when he receives a response from <br />them. <br />UPDATE ON INTERCHANGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, MICHAEL <br />GROCHALA <br />Community Development Director Grochala advised the Council previously authorized a <br />preliminary plan for the interchange and bridge construction. That plan is currently being <br />revised based on comments received from Anoka County. <br />Community Development Director Grochala stated a public open house would be held on <br />June 28, 2005. There will also be a website created that will include all of the <br />information on the project. Staff will also review the revised plan at a future Council <br />work session. The City is cost-sharing the preliminary plan with Anoka County. Staff <br />will also be submitting an application for federal funds to pay for the bridge. In January <br />2006, the status of the federal funds will be determined. If federal funds are available, the <br />project is scheduled for 2007. If there are no federal funds available, there may be state <br />funds, which would allow for a 2006 project. If no federal or state funds are available for <br />1 <br />
