CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION JUNE 8, 2005 <br />APPROVED <br />• 1 implemented; however, those points are noted so that effective follow-up can be <br />2 accomplished. <br />3 <br />4 Councilmember Carlson requested additional information on the Developer Escrow <br />5 Accounts. <br />6 <br />7 This item will appear on the regular Council agenda Monday, June 13, 2005, 6:30 p.m. <br />8 <br />9 VLAWMO REORGANIZATION, GORDON HEITKE <br />10 <br />11 Mayor Bergeson advised three Councilmembers attended the joint meeting of <br />12 VLAWMO. The Councilmembers reported the City's position regarding the <br />13 reorganization is still undecided. <br />14 <br />15 City Administrator Heitke advised the Council does not need to take action at this time. <br />16 Tomorrow VLAWMO is expecting to set up a budget for next year. He distributed the <br />17 proposed budget, noting it is 2 Y2 to 4 times higher than last year's budget. <br />18 <br />19 Councilmember Carlson requested information on the impact on taxpayers and what they <br />20 will get from those additional dollars in regard to merging or not merging the <br />21 organization. <br />22 <br />23 Council also directed staff to get additional information on whether or not the City would <br />24 end up in the RCWD and the ability to levy for the watershed. <br />25 <br />26 This item will appear on the Council work session agenda Wednesday, June 22, 2005, <br />27 5:30 p.m. <br />28 <br />29 CIVIC COMPLEX ENERGY ASSESSMENT, GORDON HEITKE <br />30 <br />31 City Administrator Heitke distributed a report noting the City Hall building was <br />32 previously assessed for construction problems. He stated staff believes the building can <br />33 be fixed for under $50,000. Staff will get bids for the repairs if the Council would like to <br />34 proceed. The City could use the Antenna Lease Revenue Funds to finance the <br />35 expenditure. <br />36 <br />37 Council directed staff to locate an additional report on the condition of the building and <br />38 bring that report forward at the next Council work session. <br />39 <br />40 This item will appear on the Council work session agenda Wednesday, June 22, 2005, <br />41 5:30 p.m. <br />42 <br />43 MEETING MINUTES CORRECTIONS — APRIL 6, APRIL 20, 2005 <br />44 <br />• 45 Mayor Bergeson called for a short break at 7:45 p.m. <br />46 <br />
