• <br />COUNCIL MINUTES APRIL 24, 2006 <br />APPROVED <br />during the last three years the City of Lino Lakes has worked extensively with Anoka County and the <br />I-35W/E Coalition to pursue the reconstruction of the I-35E/Main Street Interchange. Those efforts <br />have been successful in receiving federal funding for preliminary and final design work in the amount <br />of $1,000,000. Additionally, the project has recently been selected for federal funding in the amount <br />of $5,500,000 for construction in the 2009-2010 program funding years. <br />Community Development Director Grochala stated staff has received a proposal from SRF <br />Consulting Group, In., to prepare a Roadway Improvement Cost Allocation Study. The study will <br />outline the roadway infrastructure improvements necessary to support future growth in this area over <br />the next 25 years. Additionally, the costs associated with these improvements will be allocated to the <br />appropriate existing and future development based on traffic generation. SRF is proposing to prepare <br />the study in the amount of $16,000. <br />Community Development Director Grochala advised the study is proposed to be funded from state <br />dollars available to the City associated with the turn back of Trunk Highway 49. Anoka County has <br />also indicated their interest in cost sharing the study up to 50%. <br />Councilmember Reinert moved to approve Resolution No. 06-68, as presented. Councilmember <br />O'Donnell seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />Consider February 27, 2006 Work Session Minutes (Councilmember Stoltz was absent) — <br />Councilmember Reinert moved to approve the February 27, 2006 Work Session Minutes as <br />presented. Councilmember Carlson seconded the motion. Motion passed with Councilmember Stoltz <br />abstaining. <br />Consider February 27, 2006 City Council Meeting Minutes (Councilmember Stoltz was absent) <br />— Councilmember Reinert moved to approve the February 27, 2006 City Council Meeting Minutes as <br />presented. Councilmember Carlson seconded the motion.
