COUNCIL MINUTES MAY 22, 2006 <br />APPROVED <br />• Councilmember Carlson moved to approve Resolution No. 06-81, as presented. Councilmember <br />Reinert seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />• <br />Councilmember O'Donnell moved to approve Resolution No. 06-82, as presented. Councilmember <br />Reinert seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Councilmember Reinert moved to approve Resolution No. 06-83, as presented. Councilmember <br />Carlson seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Liquor, Wine, Beer and Dance License Renewals: Consider Resolution No. 06-90 Approving <br />Renewal of Licenses for the 2006/2007 License Period, Julie Bartell — City Clerk Bartell advised <br />all liquor, wine, beer (3.2) and dance licenses in the City of Lino Lakes expire on June 30,2006. Staff <br />has been working with the license holders to put in place all renewal information so as to allow for <br />Council consideration at this time. <br />City Clerk Bartell referred to a list of the establishments that have submitted renewal applications. <br />The applicants have completed the necessary documentation addressing state and local requirements <br />for the license they request. The Police Department has completed background investigations for the <br />applicants and has indicated no new information that would lead to a denial of any of these licenses. <br />Councilmember Reinert moved to approve Resolution No. 06-90, as presented. Councilmember <br />O'Donnell seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Hiring Public Services Employee, Gordon Heitke — City Administrator Heitke advised it is staff's <br />recommendation that a tentative offer of employment be made to Mr. Justin Williams of a general <br />maintenance position in the streets division. He noted this offer is contingent upon successful <br />completion of a background check, physical and drug test. <br />Councilmember O'Donnell moved to approve a conditional offer of employment to Mr. Williams, as <br />presented. Councilmember Carlson seconded the motion.
