This is an equitable way to ensure the City recovers its costs and avoids an <br />65 adverse impact on the taxpayers. Personnel services affected by these charges will be distinguished <br />66 from normal city functions where no charges would be involved. <br />67 <br />•68 Council Member Reinert moved to approve Resolution No. 07-10, as presented. Council Member <br />69 O'Donnell seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />70 <br />71 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT, DAN TESCH <br />72 <br />73 First Meeting of the Year Appointments, Dan Tesch — Director of Administration Tesch noted that <br />74 the council is required to make a number of appointments/designations at the beginning of each year. <br />75 The list before the council was prepared based on recommendations formulated by the council at their <br />76 work session. <br />77 <br />78 City Administrator Heitke clarified that staff added Mayor Bergeson as alternate to the Vadnais Lake <br />79 Watershed District since no name was submitted by the Council. <br />80 <br />81 Council Member Stoltz moved to approve the annual appointments, as presented. Council Member <br />82 Carlson seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously <br />83 <br />84 Conditional Offers of Employment in the Utilities and Street Divisions, Dan Tesch — Director of <br />85 Administration Tesch announced that staff has completed the recruitment and interview process to fill <br />86 two budgeted, vacant public service department positions and is now requesting authorization to <br />87 make conditional employment offers to James Shelly for the Utility position and Joe Johnson for the <br />88 Streets position. <br />• 89 <br />2 <br />
