The staff report includes a chart <br />3 indicating the hours of operation allowed in other area communities. <br />4 <br />5 Council Member Carlson moved to approve First Reading of Ordinance No. 02-07, as presented. <br />6 Council Member Stoltz seconded the motion. <br />7 <br />8 A roll call vote was taken: five yeas and zero nays. Motion carried unanimously. <br />9 <br />10 PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT, RICK DEGARDNER <br />11 <br />12 There was no report from the Public Services Department. <br />13 <br />14 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT, MICHAEL GROCHALA <br />15 <br />16 Consideration of Resolution No. 07-51, Approving Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka <br />17 County, Lake Dr. /35W Interchange Improvements - Community Development Director Grochala <br />18 noted the agreement before the council with Anoka County relateing to funding for the <br />19 Lake Drive/I-35W Interchange Improvement Project. With the execution of the agreement, all city, <br />20 state and county funding will be in place. <br />21 <br />22 The Council had been provided with a break down of project costs in earlier correspondence. <br />•23 <br />24 Community Development Director Grochala confirmed that the Lake Drive roadway (bridge) would <br />25 be kept moving as much as possible; only one weekend closure of the bridge is anticipated. The <br />26 project should be completed by October of 2008. <br />27 <br />28 Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve Resolution No. 07-51, as presented. Council Member <br />29 Reinert seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />30 <br />31 Consideration of Resolution No. 07-52, Accepting Bids and Awarding Contract, 2007 Sealcoat <br />32 Project - City Engineer Studenski reported that bids for the 2007 Sealcoat Project were opened on <br />33 March 28, 2007; the bid results were presented and reviewed. Staff recommends acceptance of the <br />34 bid process and award of the construction contract for the project as indicated. <br />35 <br />36 Council Member Stoltz moved to approve Resolution No. 07-52, as presented. Council Member <br />37 Carlson seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />38 <br />39 Consideration of Resolution No. 07-53, Accepting Bids and Awarding Contract, 2007 Overlay <br />40 Project - City Engineer Studenski reported that bids for the 2007 Overlay Project were opened on <br />41 March 28, 2007; the bid results were presented and reviewed. Staff recommends acceptance of the <br />42 bid process and award of the construction contract for the project as indicated. <br />43 <br />44 Council Member Reinert moved to approve Resolution No. 07-53, as presented.
