COUNCIL MINUTES April 23, 2007 <br />APPROVED <br />1 CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />•2 MINUTES <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 DATE : April 23, 2007 <br />6 TIME STARTED : 6:30 p.m. <br />7 TIME ENDED : 7:25 p.m. <br />8 MEMBERS PRESENT : Councilmember Carlson, O'Donnell, Reinert, <br />9 Stoltz and Mayor Bergeson <br />10 MEMBERS ABSENT : None <br />11 <br />12 Staff members present: City Administrator, Gordon Heitke; City Attorney, Scott Baumgartner; <br />13 Community Development Director, Michael Grochala; Associate Planner, Paul Bengtson <br />14 <br />15 PUBLIC COMMENT <br />16 <br />17 No one was present wishing to address the council regarding a matter not on the agenda. <br />18 <br />19 SETTING THE AGENDA <br />20 <br />21 The agenda was amended to remove Item 4 (A & B). The agenda, as amended, was approved. <br />22 <br />23 SPECIAL PRESENTATION <br />•24 <br />25 Chair of Lakes YMCA Project Update — Executive Director LaChelle Williams updated the <br />26 council on the progress of the building project. They are currently in the process of hiring instructors <br />27 and other employees. There is a charter membership drive underway. <br />28 <br />29 Chairman of the Board John McClellan spoke about a fundraising campaign that is underway. The <br />30 "YMCA Wish Book" gift registry will help to raise needed funds for equipment for the new Chain of <br />31 Lakes facility. <br />32 <br />33 CONSENT AGENDA <br />34 <br />35 Council Member Stoltz moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Items 1A through 1G. Council <br />36 Member O'Donnell seconded the motion.
