Having language in the code would clarify city regulations <br />80 and also allow for the attachment of conditions to permits. <br />81 <br />82 The special events ordinance establishes basic parameters relating to events as well as sets forth <br />83 requirements on notification, exemption, and city indemnification. Relative to the question of special <br />84 event regulations superseding other laws, including noise regulations, a paragraph has been added <br />85 clarifying that all other laws apply to permitted special events. <br />86 <br />87 The proposed ordinance was reviewed by the police, fire, and public services department as well as <br />88 the city attorney. The council would maintain authority over the issuance of permits. <br />89 <br />90 Council Member Carlson moved to approve Second Reading and Passage of Ordinance No. 03-07, as <br />91 presented.
