COUNCIL MINUTES August 27, 2007 <br />APPROVED <br />•46 <br />47 Golden Acres Residential Subdivision: <br />48 Consider Resolution No. 07-93 Approving <br />49 Development Agreement; Consider Resolution <br />50 No. 07-103 Approving Final Plat Approved <br />51 <br />52 FINANCE DEPARTMENT REPORT, AL ROLEK <br />53 <br />54 Accept Donation from Lexington Firefighters Relief Association for Safety Camp Costs — <br />55 Finance Director Rolek explained that the Lexington Firefighters Relief Association would like <br />56 to donate charitable gambling funds to the Centennial Fire District for expenses related to the <br />57 annual safety camp. The fire district cannot accept funds but requests that the city do so for <br />58 deposit into their account. Staff is recommending acceptance of $2,000 and that a check be <br />59 issued to the fire district in that amount. <br />60 <br />61 Council Member O'Donnell moved to accept the donation and authorize issuance of a check to <br />62 the Centennial Fire District. Council Member Reinert seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />63 unanimously. <br />64 <br />65 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT, DAN TESCH <br />66 <br />•67 There was no report from the Administration Department. <br />68 <br />69 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT, DAVE PECCHIA <br />70 <br />71 Consider Resolution No. 07-123, Accepting a donation from Target for National Night Out <br />72 activities — Police Chief Pecchia noted that Target is interested in donating $500 to the city. He <br />73 is recommending acceptance of the donation. <br />74 <br />75 Council Member Carlson moved to approve Resolution No. 07-123 as presented and to offer <br />76 thanks to Target for their donation. Council Member O'Donnell seconded the motion. Motion <br />77 carried unanimously. <br />78 <br />79 Consideration of Resolution No. 07-122, Accepting a donation from Final Stretch - Police <br />80 Chief Pecchia explained that Final Stretch, Inc. sponsors the annual Northern Lakes Run and <br />81 receives volunteer assistance from the Lino Lakes Police Department for the run. In recognition, <br />82 they would like to donate $250 to the city. <br />83 <br />84 Council Member Reinert moved to approve Resolution No. 07-122 as presented and to offer <br />85 thanks to Final Stretch, Inc. for their donation.
