There was concurrence that those attorneys who <br />are available should present at the regular work session of August 4, 2008. <br />The Mayor distributed a letter that he received last week from Charter Commission Chair <br />Cori Duffy regarding the charter amendment proposal. <br />REVIEW REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS <br />The following items were discussed. <br />Item 3Ai) Liability Insurance for certain Blue Heron Days events - Administrator <br />Heitke reported that the city has investigated the possibility of insurance for certain Blue <br />Heron Days events through the city's current coverage through League of Minnesota <br />Cities. He has been informed that the activities proposed are not excluded under the <br />city's policy so therefore are covered. <br />The city attorney will have the opportunity to review and comment on this issue during <br />tonight's council meeting. <br />Item 3Aii) Use of certain city -owned property for Blue Heron Days events - <br />Administrator Heitke noted that there are four events involved in the Blue Heron Days <br />festival that involve the use of city property. He feels it is prudent for the council to be <br />aware and sign off on these uses. <br />1 <br />
