COUNCIL MINUTES July 28, 2008 APPROVED 04special event and temporary liquor license. The applications have been reviewed by staff, 5 including the police and fire departments, and the applicant has been provided with a list of 86 safety conditions. The applicant has agreed to comply with the conditions and to address any 87 other safety considerations that may arise. A resolution authorizing the issuance of a special 88 event permit and temporary liquor license is presented for council consideration. 89 90 Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve Resolution No. 08-74 as presented. Council 91 Member Reinert seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 92 93 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT, DAVE PECCHIA 94 95 4A) Consider Accepting the Donation of Ice Cream from Schwan Food Company for the 96 Lino Lakes Police Department Volunteer Appreciation Celebration. Captain Strege 97 explained that the Police Department is requesting that the council publicly accept and thank the 98 Schwans Food Company for their donation of ice cream for the department's volunteer 99 appreciation celebration. 100 101 Council Member Reinert moved to accept the donation from Schwans Food Company as 102 presented. Council Member Gallup seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 103 104 4B) Consider Resolution No. 08-75, Accepting the Donation from the Lino Lakes Lions, M05 E.G. Rud & Sons, Inc., Mainstreet Bank, SMW Federal Credit Union, and Kelly & Ronald 06 Miller for the Lino Lakes Police Explorers. Captain Strege reported that the Police 107 Department is requesting council approval to publicly accept and thank the Lino Lake Lions, 108 E.G. Rud & Sons, Mainstreet Bank, SMW Federal Credit Union, and Kelly and Ronald Miller 109 for donations to the Lino Lakes Police Explorers Program. 110 111 Council Member Gallup moved to approve Resolution No. 08-75 as presented. Council Member 112 Stoltz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 113 114 4C) Consider Resolution No. 08-76, Accepting a Donation from the Lino Lakes Lions for 115 the Senior Safety Fair. Captain Strege reported that the Police Department is requesting the 116 council approval to publicly accept and thank the Lino Lake Lions for their donation to the 117 Senior Safety Fair. 118 119 Council Member O'Donnell moved to accept Resolution No. 08-76 as presented.
