Approval of Application to Conduct Excluded Bingo submitted <br />50 by Blue Heron PTO, for event on November 20, 2008 Approved <br />51 <br />52 FINANCE DEPARTMENT REPORT, AL ROLEK <br />53 There was no report from the Finance Department. <br />54 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT, DAN TESCH <br />55 3A Tentative Offer of Employment for Recreation Supervisor — Administration Director <br />56 Tesch reported that staff has completed an interview and hiring process for the vacant position of <br />57 Recreation Supervisor and is now recommending that staff be authorized to make a conditional <br />58 offer of employment to Ms. Tanya Beekman. <br />59 Council Member O'Donnell moved to authorize a tentative offer of employment to Ms. Tanya <br />60 Beekman for the position of Recreation Supervisor. Council Member Gallup seconded the <br />mk61 motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />62 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT, DAVE PECCHIA <br />63 4A. Approval of Resolution No. 08-119 accepting a donation from Cecelia Woodrich to <br />64 the Lino Lakes Police Explorers — Police Chief Pecchia reported that the Police Department is <br />65 requesting authority to accept and thank Cecelia Woodrich for her generous donation of a Smith <br />66 & Wesson .357 Magnum revolver to the Lino Lakes Police Explorers. <br />67 <br />68 Council Member Reinert moved to approve Resolution No. 08-119 as presented. Council <br />69 Member Stoltz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />70 PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT, RICK DEGARDNER <br />71 There was no report from the Public Services Department. <br />72 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT REPORT, MICHAEL GROCHALA <br />73 A. Approval of Resolution No. 08-113, Certifying Collection of Delinquent Weed <br />74 Abatement Charges to the County Auditor — Community Development Director Grochala <br />75 explained that staff is presenting delinquent weed abatement charges for certification to Anoka <br />76 County for collection with property taxes. Affected property owners were properly notified and <br />77 were allowed ample time to pay the delinquent charges. <br />78 <br />79 Council Member Gallup moved to approve Resolution No. 08-113 as presented.
